If you submit a request through this Web Site to find or list a property or to find a sales associate (including a relocation specialist), you will be asked to provide Personal Information and we refer this information to a sales associate to respond to your request. For example, if you ask that we list your property or if you ask to see more listings in a given area, you will be directed to a sales associate in that area. If you hold your mouse over a link, it will indicate whether clicking the link will send you off our Web Site. We encourage our users to be aware of when they leave our Web Site and enter a third-party web site and to read the privacy statements of any web site that collects personal information.
B. Contacting Us
If you contact us, we collect Personal Information, which is retained or referred to a sales associate depending on the nature of your inquiry. If you are looking for a property or a sales associate, it is referred to a sales associate; if your inquiry or complaint requires a response from us, it is referred to the appropriate department for research and a response.
C. Refer a Listing to a Friend
If you choose to send a listing to a friend, you will be asked to provide the friend's name and email address in order to personalize the email and to send the email. We do not store this information, and the information is used only to send the one-time referral.

2. Collection of Non-Personal Information
Even if you do not send us any Personal Information, we collect information that cannot be used to identify an individual ("Non-Personal Information") about your use of our Web Site.
Your Internet browser has a feature called cookies, which stores small amounts of data on your computer about your visit to our Web Site. You do not need to have cookies turned on to visit our Web Sites, although active participation in certain areas of our Web Site may require cookies. Cookies alone tell us nothing about who you are unless you specifically give us personally identifiable information, in which case we use the information to enhance your services in the ways described below. By adjusting your settings on your browser, you may elect not to allow cookies to be collected.
We also use technologies, including electronic images known as Web bugs-sometimes called transparent GIFs, clear GIFs, or beacons-that allow us to track general user-traffic patterns. We also automatically receive and record information from our servers and from your browser, including your IP address, the time of your visit to pages on our Web Site, and information about pages you visited. Unless you have registered for one of our services, the information we gather through the use of tracking technologies cannot be matched with any personally identifiable information about you.
- Keeping count of return visits to our Web Site or our advertisers' or partners' sites;
- Accumulating and reporting anonymous, aggregate (data collected in mass), statistical information on Web Site and advertisement usage;
- Determining which features our overall user population likes best;
- Saving your password so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our Web Site; and
- Displaying the most appropriate advertising or content based on your interests.
We allow other companies that are presenting advertisements on our Web Site and, sometimes, in our newsletters and email alerts to use tracking technology on your computer. We do not give any personally identifiable information to them as part of this relationship. Unless you visit the web site of these companies and provide them with personally identifiable information about yourself, these tracking technologies do not provide those advertisers with personally identifiable information. Our advertisers' use of tracking technology is subject to their own privacy policies.
B. Non-Personal Information
Like many sites, we obtain Non-Personal Information such as IP (internet protocol) addresses, browser types, ISP (internet service provider), information about where a user comes from before arriving at our Web Site, what pages a user visits, the order of those pages, and the amount of time spent on each. A vendor performs this service for us by setting a cookie to gather this information, compile it, and report to us. We use Non-Personal Information to customize the advertising and content you see, improve our services, conduct research, and provide anonymous aggregated reporting for internal audits and third-parties.
C. Advertising Networks
We send to your web browser some of the advertisements you see when you use our network of Web Sites. However, we also allow other companies, called third-party ad servers or ad networks, to serve advertisements within our web pages. Because your web browser must request these advertising banners from the ad network web site, these companies can send their own cookies to your cookie file, just as if you had requested a web page from the web site. Please note that if an advertiser asks us to show an advertisement to a certain audience (for example, men ages 18-34) or audience segment (for example, men ages 18-24 who have viewed sports content) and you respond to that ad, the advertiser or ad-server may conclude that you fit the description of the audience they are trying to reach. As always, remember we authorize our third-party ad servers to employ anonymous cookies only for ad delivery and anonymous targeting. Our third-party ad servers do not collect, nor do we give them access, to any Personal Information about you.
D. Opting Out of Third-Party Ad Servers
If you want to prevent a third-party ad server from sending and reading cookies on your computer, currently you must visit each ad network's web site individually and opt out (if they offer this capability).
3. Use of Information
We use the Personal Information and the Non-Personal Information we collect on the Web Site (A) to provide you with the services that you ask to receive through the Web Site, including saving searches and, if you request it, sending you updates about those searches, (B) to receive periodic industry updates, (C) to answer your questions or complaints, (D) to refer you to sales associates about finding or listing a property or to locate a sale associate; (E) to refer a listing to a friend, and (F) for analytical purposes to help us improve the Web Site and for our business generally.
