I had a wonderful experience working with Paul for my home purchase in the
Paul was referred to me when I was relocating to the Bay Area.
After interviewing several Realtors, I chose to work with him because he took
the time to really listen to me and to understand what I was looking for in a
home. He also asked very astute questions about my lifestyle, home
preferences and the type of community environment I was looking for.
And he nailed it! I
ended up purchasing the first home that Paul showed me!
knows Bay Area real estate as well as the purchasing process. He was a
knowledgeable advisor every step of the way. He willingly answered all my
many questions and was enthusiastic and energetic through the entire process.
I felt like he was really working for ME.
I love my new home and my
neighborhood! If you are looking for a REALTOR who will work hard for you, I
highly recommend Paul!
I wanted a professional design consultation for my home.
I had lived in it a couple of years but the layout proved a design challenge
for me. I wanted the house to feel homey yet with a modern feel. An associate
recommended Paul. We hit it off right way. Paul's easy-going personality and
has great sense of humor made me instantly feel at ease. He patiently listed
to my likes and looked at the numerous pictures I had pulled together to
explain what I wanted. He quickly understood what I was looking for and
pulled together some fantastic design ideas with furniture, color, and art.
With his help (and contacts) I was able to implement them quickly and easily.
I highly recommend Paul his sense of style, color, and flow are next to none.
Paul sold our second home and was our Realtor for the purchase of our 4th
home when we returned to the bay area. His services have been nothing short
of stellar. He was consistently able to meet our needs, show us homes that
fulfilled our criteria, and guide us through the ulcer inducing process of
both selling a house and buying a new home. We have kept in touch due to the
simple pleasure of his company, wit and wisdom.
As a first time buyer without much experience or time, Paul went
above and beyond to get us the house we wanted, and did it on the first try.
Throughout the process he was very attentive and made sure no detail slipped
through the cracks. We're very happy with our new home and, without Paul,
we'd probably still be looking.
A great way to sell a home!
Sad circumstances led us to selling a home - something
none of us had even done before. I've known Paul for years, and so without
any contacts or experience in real estate, we turned to him. He came in, sat
and talked with us and pushed the project thru with fairness and heart. We
actually had bids before the first open house, and ended selling it within
weeks of listing.
I can't say enough good things about Pauls' work ethic, his attention to
detail and his gentle nudging to get things done. LOL. But honestly it was
his kindness and compassion that really sealed the deal.
As first-time home buyers we needed a lot of help understanding the process.
Paul was there to help and explain every step. He fought to get us a
bank-owned house that had other offers. We wouldn't have gotten it without
him. I was so appreciative of the hard work he put in to get our offer
accepted. Not to mention his patience in dealing with a completely real
estate ignorant couple.
He also referred us to a mortgage broker that worked to
get us a low interest rate.
We refer Paul to all our friends looking in the East Bay
and we will definitely go back to him in the future.
Paul played a pivotal role in helping us sell our home in May 2010. My
husband and I were nervous about selling our home in this uncertain market.
Paul's years of experience and knowledge in real estate was evident in the
way that he prepared and marketed our home for sale. His attention to detail,
suggestions and advice were greatly appreciated. The bottom line was that our
home got multiple offers and sold before we had our first open house!
highly recommend Paul, and look forward to working with him again soon.
Paul sold was of great assistance to my sisters and I in selling our parents
house as an estate sale.
Needless to say it was a tough time that Paul was
wonderful in staging the house, working out appointments, working up web site
and flyers. I you need a REALTOR who will do more than stick a sign in the
lawn and add in the paper Paul is your Man.Thanks Paul!
realtor. This was my first time ever purchasing a me. Paul was amazing!
He was a true advocate as I went the negotiations, inspections, mortgage to
closing. I heard that purchasing a home was nerve wracking. For me, it
was a smooth transaction. Mostly due to Paul. He also referred me to a great
mortgage broker and I received a great interest rate.

extra care, attention to detail, professionalism, fun, integrity, etc. I

Thank You Paul,
I wanted to send you a quick
note thanking you for selling my house at 13070 Brookpark Rd. The whole
transaction from start to finish was done very efficiently and in a timely
manner. All the decisions and suggestions you made were right on, and it led to
a quick sale at the best price. I would not hesitate to call on you in the

“Paul, I truly appreciate you
as a consultant and support during the sale of my home. Seeing the daily
reports on the news regarding the real estate market being bleak and seller's
being forced to lower their asking prices by thousands of dollars heightened my
concern for selling; but you made the difference! In spite of the reports, you
remained optimistic and encouraging.
Thank you for making yourself available, sharing the details and
communicating every step of the process. I definitely felt like you had my best
interest at heart and I could trust your judgment. Thanks...what a wonderful
and profitable partnership!! Continued Success in the market...”
Paul Di Leo is a realtor in
Oakland whom we chanced to meet at at Sunday Open House. My son talked to
him about what would work for him. The first property Paul showed us was
the style, neighborhood, and price range our son and his new wife desired.
We were nervous because it was a short sale, something we had been
warned to avoid, but our offer was accepted, and after many documents, a little
bit of drama, and Paul's positive energy, the deal went through. Paul was
quick to respond to any phone call, and would check out any questions or
concerns we had. There was never any hesitation to call whomever could
get him the information we needed. He was always ahead of us for any
appointments, and kept us focused on what would come next in the complicated
realty arena. The home needed some TLC and Paul knew many contractors and
businesses that could restore the home for us. Four of them are working
for us now.
Best of all, Paul was
a joy to work with and skillfully dealt with the personalities of my son,
husband, and myself. We would work with Paul again, and highly recommend
him to anyone searching for a home.
Jane Britton, Bruce Wiener,
"Paul Di Leo sold our home for
us during the peak of the spring housing season. We me him at an open house in
our neighborhood and instantly felt that he would be the best person to work
with and sell our house. Paul was very open with suggestions that he felt would
improve the selling capabilities of our property. Once we established that he
would be our Realtor, we set up a timeline and checked in regularly to keep
ourselves on track. We didn't ever have to deal with any "last
minute" changes or issues. Paul regularly kept us informed of all our
deadlines and he was able to be present for all the inspections that we had to
go through. Our open house was a breeze. The entire process flowed as he had
predicted; we were able to sell our house in an extremely short period of time
for more than we hoped for. I would recommend Paul's services, experience and
expertise to anyone. In addition to being a very friendly and honest person, he
also naturally became our "housing therapist" when we needed him to

"IF YOU NEED TO SELL YOUR HOME,
YOU NEED Paul Di Leo "We can't say enough about the talents and skills of
Realtor and designer Paul Di Leo. In February, we needed to sell our Montclair
home, while living overseas. We needed help quickly, and Paul saved the day.
Working with us by phone, fax, and email, Paul remodeled our home beautifully,
marketed our home masterfully and closed the deal quickly. We received a dozen
offers on our home and a much higher than listed selling price. Working with
Paul is a pleasure. He holds your hand every step of the journey. He is kind,
dedicated, honest, reliable, creative, and patient. He is extremely
knowledgeable about the real estate market and how it works. His standards are
exceptionally high and he surrounds himself with co-workers and industry
professionals of that caliber. Paul is a bright, compassionate person who
understands the challenging and difficult task of selling a home. He knows
exactly what to do to make the sale happen and to help sellers relax along the
way. It has truly been a blessing for us to have you "appear" in our
lives and take care of us and the sale of our home so well. We are most
grateful. Thank you, Paul, for helping us."

Even the most discerning Buyer would be fortunate to be represented by Paul Di Leo. His professionalism and unparalleled follow-up sets a new standard in residential real estate. I have enjoyed working with Paul and have learned that he will approach every turn in the transaction with a "can do" attitude and a positive attitude. Paul's attention to detail is meticulous: a quality that is required in the shifting contract sands of California real estate forms. Most importantly, though, he completely shelters his clients from any harm and guides them confidently through the shoals of a transaction. It is a pleasure working with Paul.
I would like to take this opportunity
to thank you for your wonderful service. Without you I would never have been
able to find such a perfect home. You made the process, which is usually
cumbersome, a pleasure. In addition you went above and beyond your duty to help
with the mortgage, assisting me step by step until we finalized the closing. If
I ever have the occasion to buy another house, without doubt, I will call you.
I have already recommended you to my daughter who is starting to look for a new

I had been looking for a few months
with a different agent and was not finding my dream home. When I realized that
I was not shown all the properties, I decided to go with a different agent and
I was referred to Paul. Four days after, I made an offer on my little dream
home and I now happily live in it! Paul’s no-nonsense approach, dedication and
efficiency were definitely the contributing factors in me finding my perfect
house so quickly. He was focused, was obtaining answers we needed in record
time, and his advice on setting the offer price saved me thousand of dollars.
He made the entire process so much easier for me, from the house hunting to the
offers to the inspection, and went out of his way to give me good referrals for
other things I had to have done. Simply put: at no point in the entire process
I doubted I could have found a better agent!
Thank you Paul!

Thank you so much for assisting me in
buying my first home (with no-money-down, too!) in this crazy market. I wasn't
sure it was possible but your positive attitude and moxie encouraged me that it
was. Your follow-through is impeccable; you maintain control of the process and
really do make it as painless as possible. And so fast! From the day I first
called you to the close of escrow was less than eight weeks. I closed yesterday
and I still can’t believe I’m a homeowner.
I want to thank you so much for your
expertise and judgment, as we rushed through a whirlwind,
"courtship," and jumped straight into home ownership. You’re the best
and you know it!! And, we really benefited from your help, your good humor,
your experience, your knowledge of the process, and of our home in particular.
You made a tremendous difference and
we can’t imagine how we could have accomplished so much, in so little time,
with anyone else.
From your Faithful Fans!

Just wanted to say THANKS AGAIN for
helping me purchase my first home. It's one thing to say you're going to buy
something and another to actually do it. I don't believe I could have done
this--or done it as quickly--without you and the team you put together for me.
Many a time you urged me to "trust the process." That wasn't always
easy, but trusting you made it all possible.
Paul Di Leo is amazing! My husband
and I met him after a referral from a friend. We were just beginning our house
hunt and were very nervous about it. We were living in a small bungalow and
needed something bigger as we planned to expand our family. Paul met with us
and took time to go over what we really wanted in a new home (notice I said
home, not house). He took time to get to know us so he was better able to find
something he knew we would like, rather than waste time looking at everything.
He helped us narrow down and become more clear on what we wanted by asking all
the right questions. He was very patient with us. He also did not pressure us
which we greatly appreciated. When we did see a house we liked, they were
taking offers the next day! He picked us up at 9:30 p.m. that night and took us
to the house so my husband could see it. When I heard my husband talking to
himself arranging the furniture in his mind, I knew we had to make an offer. We
went back to Paul’s office and wrote an offer that night! Talk about above and
beyond! We got the house although there were multiple offers made. Now, a year
later, we have a new baby to go with it! We do not consider Paul to be just our
realtor, we consider him a friend.

Dear Paul, My husband and I cannot
thank you enough for your assistance with the purchase of our home. You took
the time to get to know us, to understand our needs, and to put all that
together to find us a property that fits us perfectly. Importantly, you were
able to provide us with professional advice that successfully guided us in
making the winning offer in a multiple offer setting. We couldn't have done it
without you! As you know, we have been quite happy in our new home and simply
wish to extend our thanks once again for your services and for taking the time
even after the sale closed to ensure that we were happy in our new home.
Very Truly Yours,
Mandy G. Leigh, esq. & Jay Jambeck, esq.
Let me introduce myself. I am
a 52 year old professional who moved to the bay area about 18 months ago. I had
purchased homes previously in West Hartford, CT and Spokane, WA. As you can
imagine, moving to the Bay Area produced a kind of "sticker shock"
when I contemplated buying a home. I had made my mind up to continue to rent
a home in the area, thinking that I would not find anything I liked in my price
range. I had met Paul Di Leo socially, and he was certain that he could help me
find a new home. After a lot of skepticism, he convinced me to spend a Saturday
afternoon with him looking at some homes in the area. I decided it would be
worth while, if only to confirm my previous concerns. Paul had some idea of
what I was looking for. He used the first couple of houses we visited as a way
of refining his impression of what I was looking for. I had seen a home in my
area that looked outwardly to fit my needs. Paul had also seen this house and
was able to tell me what he thought were the problems with the property, and
also knew that we could find other similar homes which represented a better value. The third home we visited on that Saturday was in this category. Paul had
already seen it and told me some of the things that he liked about it. We
toured the home together and he helped me see behind the “staging” and surface
of the home into the structure. Both it’s attractive points and its problems
were discussed. I had to agree after that visit that it represented everything
I liked about the first home, with about twice the square footage, and none of
I went again, alone, during an
open house on the next day. This time, the selling realtor took me through,
pointing out the same features that we had seen the day before. Because Paul
had briefed me, I was able to ask more pointed questions and get a closer view
of some of the issues raised by the property. I also had a chance to look at
the disclosures made by the seller, which helped me to understand the
significance of some of Paul’s observations.
Out of the blue, Paul called me one night after work and said I
needed to see the house in the evening. I went, thinking it wouldn’t be that
different, but of course it was. And the experience that evening really sealed
the deal in my mind. I had decided to buy the house.
Paul handled all the paperwork that comes with an offer. He also
helped me to understand the kind of competition that might be involved, and
gave me a good idea of what my offer should be. We arrived at a consensus and
the offer was accepted. So, Now I am living in my new
home. As my furniture went in to the house, it seemed like it truly belonged
there. I have never been more satisfied with a home purchase. And I have Paul
to thank for it (plus a good credit rating, a substantial down payment, and a
lot of Maalox). I would encourage anyone looking for a home in the Bay Area to
rely on Paul’s expertise. I am sure you will come away with the same feeling of
satisfaction that I have.
I met Paul Di Leo on a
referral during a company relocation from Houston, TX to the Bay Area. Paul got
in touch with me in a very timely manner and was professional in his approach.
We first spoke over the phone and he asked a lot of questions about not only
about what I thought I was looking for but also where I was moving from and
what I had liked about that location and my home.
He committed to finding several properties that would meet my
requirements and within 2 days we were able to go out and look at properties.
Paul was very knowledgeable about the area. All of the properties that I saw
met my requirements – including size, price, neighborhood, and lifestyle – and
I ended up writing a contract on one of the properties that same afternoon! I
was impressed that Paul was not trying to “convince” me to like something or to
entice me into a property that was above my price point and/or not in a
location to my specifications. He didn’t impose his personal taste on me but
was helpful in offering opinions and helping to structure the offer. Above all,
I felt he truly had my best interest at heart, wanted me to be happy, and was
really working on my behalf. I think we had the fastest Closing on record – I
was in my new home in 18 days. Throughout this expedited process, Paul was on
top of things, flexible, patient in answering all my questions, unwaveringly
positive and a lot of fun to work with!Paul made the transition to a new home – and a new city – very
painless for me and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to purchase in the

Paul Di Leo was competent in his insight on the East Bay markets. Being new to
the area, his insights on housing market trends, history, and the do/don’ts
were invaluable in helping me find a place to live which was suitable to my
needs. Paul was also energetic and full of energy—making the cumbersome process
of house-hunting a little more enjoyable. Paul’s knowledge of California State
real estate policies and procedures was also an asset to me, having relocated
from out-of-state. Paul was interested in helping me make the right decision
based on my needs, wants, and challenges and he did a great job in helping me
to align the associated facets. I would recommend Paul as a great resource for
finding that special place!

When is came time to sell my
mother’s home in Lafayette my first problem was locating a trustworthy and competent realtor. I turned to someone whom I
had known through square dancing for more than ten years. Paul Di Leo certainly
has proven to be the perfect choice. His skill and knowledge of the real
estate field served us well, as he orchestrated the sale of this unique
property expeditiously in an economic period of uncertainly. He took one look
at the home and his eyes lit up. His delight in the property and commitment to
retaining its charm were quite reassuring. From the very start he took charge,
made calls, got trades people on board and made things happen. This made my
side of this process easier. He was excellent at describing
the entire process and walking us through it. Each step of the way he explained
the situation and options clearly so that making decisions was greatly
facilitated. His attention to detail was amazing. He is an energetic and
compassionate person who understands what sellers need to make it through the
process. He also has the ability to step back and help people see the ?big
picture. His sense of humor certainly has helped along the way. To have
staged, marketed and sold this property in such a short time in a difficult
market at over asking price certainly validates the decision to have him be
our realtor. He was definitely the man for the job. I recommend him

done for me. This has been a great experience having you as my agent (and
really also as an adviser , mentor, and a friend). You are a true gem and a
rarity in this industry. I wish I have listened to your advice from the get go,

Merry Christmas to you, Blessings,
Paul Di Leo is an
outstanding agent and a wonderful, multi-faceted person. He's also very
easy to work with. He smoothed every stage of our purchase, from finding
the right mortgage broker to completing the inspections to helping with the details
of closing. As a representative of both seller and buyer in our
transaction, Paul acted with fairness, candor, and good humor. To anyone buying
or selling in the East Bay, I recommend Paul with enthusiasm.
Paul DiLeo is a consummate professional, and it is hard to
single out any particular area in which he excelled more than another. He
handled the negotiations with the seller with deftness and skill; he dealt with
conflicting inspection reports with common sense and with an eye to keeping
costs down; and he walked us through the closing process so that it all went
smoothly. Thanks Paul!
