Jaima helped us buy a house, then quickly sell our old house. We had a very aggressive timeline to try to sell our house ASAP and Jaima worked with us to make it happen. You will find no better real estate agent than Jaima Roberts to help you find a home in our area of the East Bay.  She helped me find my house in 2004, after I had looked for six months without the aid of a realtor. Most Sundays I had combed the newspapers for open houses, planned my route, and made the rounds.  After six months, I was exhausted and discouraged.  I hadn’t thought I was picky, but even when the houses were well-maintained and clean, their styles just did not appeal to me.  I simply couldn’t find a house that I liked in my price range and those I liked that were originally priced in my range shot beyond me during bidding wars.

Enter Jaima, who asked questions, listened with care, and went to work. She tirelessly weeded out properties that did not meet my criteria while keeping an open mind about possibilities that I may not have considered.  She expanded our search to areas that met my criteria for the type of neighborhood I wanted to live in.  When necessary, she provided expert help in determining repair issues and supported my need to consult with friends in the process.

We looked at many houses, and in the process, Jaima helped me hone down my requirements to what was really primary for me until we found the right house: one with classic simplicity, in good condition, with big windows for light, hardwood floors, in a great neighborhood, and within my price range.

Since I was a first-time home buyer, I had a lot of questions; she educated me in all the concepts and terms: escrow,closing, escrow accounts, etc. She did all the paperwork to put in the bid, helped me negotiate with the seller, and helped me find a loan broker and a home inspector. She accompanied me and gave me confidence during the arduous closing process, and presented me with all the final paperwork for my files. She explained the property tax structure, when and how I would be taxed, and when and how the house insurance had to be in place. 

Throughout the whole process, she dealt with me with total professionalism and an unflagging enthusiasm.  I recommend her to you without reservation.
