A licensed real estate agent by the State of California since 1987, I received my Broker's license in 1994.
Completed comprehensive training in the use of the U.S. Government's FHA 203k Home Purchase and Renovation Loan program, and was awarded the 203k Specialist designation. To meet the current market needs, I also have the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) Certification.
A current member of the Oakland Association of Realtors, I served four years as a Director and two of those years as Treasurer of OAR; and am also a member of the California Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
Served on the boards of non-profit community-based organizations providing housing and social services to low and moderate-income families. Past member of the National Ski Patrol System and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in South America, an experience that re-established Spanish as my second language.
Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture from SUNY at Syracuse University and a a Master Degree in City Planning from the University of California at Berkeley. City Planning and policy development experience with City and County of Denver, Colorado, and in private consulting practice.
