Rossmoor has been growing as a community since 1964 to almost 10,000 people. There are various neighborhoods within Rossmoor, each with a distinctive style and feel. There are also a variety of floor plans with prices to accommodate any budget. The last units to be built in Rossmoor were completed in December 2003. No additional building is planned, and the space remaining is set aside as open space for the community's enjoyment. Here are just some of the condominium neighborhoods.

Turnberry and Rossmoor Greens

The Turnberry neighborhood was built in 1988 and is made up of mostly fourplexes, with two condominium units upstairs and two units downstairs. They come with single car detached garages, and sometimes an extra carport. They have eat-in kitchens, inside laundry, and formal dining rooms. They all have a deck for your outdoor enjoyment, with many having fabulous views of the golf course or hills and valley. The models in Turnberry include the Aberdeen, Galloway, Montrose and Rosslyn. They range in size from approx 1,250 square feet to approx 1,725 square feet.

The Fairways

The Fairways Area was built in 1985. The area has a Mediterranean feel with white stucco buildings, red tile roofs and blue trim. They all have eat-in kitchens, inside laundry, and formal dining area. They come with detached single car garages and sometimes an additional carport. Floor plans include the August, Doral, Firestone and Inverness models, ranging from approx 1,264 to 1,595 square feet.

Deer Highlands

Deer Highlands units were built in 1987, and all have detached single car garages and/or carports. They are in a beautiful secluded area overlooking the Rossmoor valley. Floor plans include Willow, Cedar, Magnolia and Redwood and range in size from approx 1,264 to 1,595 square feet.  

The Woods

The Woods, built in 1983, is located up the hill on Stanley Dollar Drive. The settings are peaceful and serene. They have single car detached garages and some have an additional carport. Some models overlook a couple of the beautiful man-made lakes. Similar models are located in the valley below along Rossmoor Parkway. Floor plans include Klamath, Pinehurst II, Cascade II and Tahoe II. Sizes range from approx 1,157 to approx 1,434 square feet.

Pinnacles is a 4-story building with underground parking. Elevator access takes you to each floor where you will walk through a beautiful covered, open walkway to your condominium. Built in 1996, these are lovely modern units, each with their own unique setting. Models include Summit, Panorama and Woodside and range from approx 1,241 to 1,894 square feet.  

Eagle Ridge

Eagle Ridge is one of the newer, more exclusive areas of Rossmoor, built in the 1990's. There are a variety of floor plans, from single story/duplex style and single story/triplex designs with attached 2-car garages, to fourplex designs with upper and lower level condominiums, each with attached single car garages. Models include Eucalyptus, Fuschia, Daphine, Cassia, Chestnut, Buckeye, Alder, and Ash. Square footage ranges from approx 1,712 to 2,248 square feet.  

 
Lakeshire / Devonshire

The Lakeshire and Devonshire areas of Rossmoor were built around 1989-1990, and feel more like a home. They are duplex style, single level units with attached 2-car garages. Models are Wyndham, Pembroke, Bridgewater, Churchill, Kensington and Sherwood. Square footage ranges from approx 1,800 to 2,300.
