Welcome to The Waterford, the Bay Area's premier congregate living community. Located in a private country club-style setting in the active adult community of Rossmoor in Walnut Creek, The Waterford offers an active, carefree lifestyle with all the services and amenities of a fine resort.

The Waterford is considered independent, congregate living. It differs primarily from a life-care retirement community because you purchase your own condominium home. This means you may sell your Waterford condo at any time, or it may be willed with your estate. You preserve equity and the tax benefits of home ownership, and retain the advantage of any appreciation in value. Must be 55 years of age or over. The Waterford is comprised of approx. 300 condominium units, many enhanced by views of the surrounding lake and hills. There are twelve different models, ranging in size from approx. 620 to 1,820 sq. ft., with studio to two bedroom units. Prices vary with current maket conditions, size, condition and location of the unit. They currently range from approx. $80,00 to $600,000.

Amenities:

• Security plaza at the entrance to Rossmoor staffed 24 hours a day. The Waterford has its own 24-hour staff, and all building entrances are secured. Each condominium has an emergency call system connected to the front desk for immediate response.
• Weekly housekeeping includes dusting, vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms, changing the linens and removing the trash. Window cleaning provided on a periodic basis.
• Dining each day in the club-style dining room. Lunch and/or dinner are served each day and are included in the monthly homeowners' fee. Residents may contract for additional meals on a regular basis or charge meals to their accounts. Catering and room service are available at an additional charge.
• Scheduled bus transportation from The Waterford's front door to other locations within the Rossmoor community and to the local shopping center. County Connection buses to downtown Walnut Creek and the BART station depart from the shopping center regularly.
• Small pets are allowed.
• Recreational and social activities planned by the Waterford Activities Coordinator. These include bridge games, social gatherings, live entertainment, educational classes, arts and crafts, group excursions and trips.
• Supervised exercise program is available in the on-site exercise studio.
• John Muir Medical facilities just outside the Rossmoor gate, and Kaiser-Walnut Creek just minutes away.
• Homeowners' Association dues are paid monthly, and include water, garbage, basic Comcast cable, one meal per day and weekly housekeeping. Monthly dues vary by unit, from approx. $1800 per month for one person and approx. $600 more for the second person in a unit.
• All Rossmoor community amenities are available to The Waterford residents, including five clubhouses, golf, fitness center, swimming, free movies, activity centers with art, sewing, woodworking, pottery, and over 200 clubs and organizations.
