My Philosophy of assisting you

Let's get one thing out of the way.  You can call me a counselor, a facilitator or even a "middle-man" but don't think of me as a salesman

I specialize in Danville, Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and San Ramon.  With buyers I also am familiar with Brentwood, Discovery Bay, Sunol and Tracy.  My main specialty as a Realtor is Relocation and I am very familiar with the various aspects of the Relocation Process as well as being a Certified Relocation Professional.  I work extremely well with first time buyers and of course take care of my past clients, friends and relatives be they buyers or sellers. I am also a Certified Residential Specialist and an Accredited Buyers Representative along with other Realtor designations and have my Real Estate Broker License in the State of California. You may ask why you should care - many do.  The most important aspect of all these designations is the education that is required to achieve them.  It just helps me to be better able to assist you in what is probably, next to your marriage, the most important step in your life.

I don't "sell" you a house, the owner does.  You and the owner through me, your Real Estate Agent, and their agent come to an agreement with my counseling based on your needs.  My goal is to create an enjoyable environment for what is often a very stressful period in your life. To accomplish this we determine your price range by putting you in touch with two or three good lenders, your primary lifestyle needs by talking with you, asking questions and listening to what you have to say and then the extra wants you may desire for improved living conditions.  I will point out the good and the not so good features of the house, the neighborhood and the town it is in. We will tour the areas that work for you and find the best home for you. From that point through the close of escrow I handle initial negotiations, inspections, disclosures, further negotiations and all the paper work all of this of course with your approval.  Your offer will be a ten page document that covers all aspects of the sale such as price, loan, concessions, inspections and closing.  There will also be other pages that will help inform you as to the process ahead of you.  Many are disclosures that the seller has provided regarding the good and bad points of the house and the neighborhood.

If schools are your concern we will look at them, discuss them, visit them and you will check out the test scores, the school websites and any other info that you may want.  Whatever your concerns, I will try to understand them, answer them or find an answer for you.  I am knowledgeable about The Pleasanton School District, The Livermore School District, the Dublin School District and the San Ramon School District.  I also have knowledge of the Brentwood and Tracy School Districts. The same with public commuting such as the BART rail system, the Wheels Bus system, The ACE train system and the County Connection bus system  I will also try to answer any questions about other special items that you want to understand such as Dance Academies, Equestrian Activities, Swim Teams, Soccer Clubs and Acrobatic facilities.  Over my twenty year career in Real Estate I have been asked about all of these.  I am also familiar with the 4-H and FFA programs in the Tri-Valley.  I am very aware of the several Catholic Churches in the area, The Baptist Churches, the LDS Stakes and many other denominations.  I can refer you to the proper sources for information on other non-Christian facilities of which there are many in Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin and throughout the Tri-Valley.

Once we find your home, I will be there with you to write the offer, negotiate with the seller and facilitate the inspections until you move in and after.  I will be there to counsel you as to the best price scenario for your offer and to write your contract so that both you and the seller will be in a "win-win" situation.  I will suggest inspectors such as home, pest, roof and so on and facilitate and attend the various inspections, help you with your repair requests if necessary and follow through on everything including when you go to the title company for signing of all the necessary documents to close the sale.  There will be "bumps" in the road and it is my job to make sure these do not turn into mountains or sheer cliffs.  One of my goals is to keep this process a smooth one without turning it stressful for either one of us.

What I hope for throughout the entire process of this journey from our first meeting to your moving into your new home is that you become a "Raving Fan" of me and of my services.  I would like to feel that whenever you have anyone ask about a Realtor you will immediately give them my name and then call me with their contact info.
